About This Project

Sónar was born in 1994 in the city of Barcelona as a cultural pioneering event and unique in his format and contents. It is a world reference thanks to his artistic programming always ultramodern and the experimentation of new currents of electronic music.

It is one of the most important festivals of electronic music in the world and the most relevant of our country. Sónar By Day is celebrated during three days in the middle of June in the venue placed in the Fira de Montjuïc with concerts, showcases and Sónar+D (the international conference that brings together a combination of activities with a common theme: the relationship between creativity and technology, and the digital transformation of the cultural industries involved. In the last edition there represented almost 6.000 accredited proceeding professionals of more than 60 countries).
